Tempter Jorgen Leth and his Five Jihlava Obstructions

A distinguished documentary film-maker, writer and poet Jorgen Leth will be this year's guest of honour at the 13th Jihlava IDFF. His return after five years will follow up on an extensive retrospective prepared for him by Jihlava IDFF in 2004.

The controversial author will run the offbeat "Festival Obstacle Race" at Jihlava IDFF.

Five Jihlava Obstructions for Jorgen Leth:

Leth - The Erotic Human - the director will demonstrate his method with clips from the long-expected film in a moderated master class.

The Imperfect Man - an author's reading his controversial autobiography "Imperfect Man. Scenes from My Life" (2005).

In search of the good work - Jorgen Leth will sit on the jury of the world documentary film competition Opus Bonum.

Notebook - daily jottings about the competition films published in the festival diary Dok.revue.

27 Scenes with Jorgen Leth - the screening of the film by the director of the Brazilian festival It´s All True Amir Labaki will be followed by the two directors' discussion.
