Now it is celebrating 10 years with the Ex Oriente Film workshop that was first organized in 2003. At the time of its founding in 2003, Ex Oriente Film was the first training initiative that focused on the development and funding of creative documentary films from Eastern Europe. One of the three Ex Oriente Film sessions is traditionally held during the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. This year, 13 projects have been selected for the Ex Oriente Workshop and will be introduced by 26 directors on October 22 to 28 in Jihlava.
