Due to the national elections in Turkey AKSAV who is the local coordinator of the festival, has undergone changes within their management and ongoing financial problems have delayed the decision making which made it ultimately impossible to take on the assignment for the International Festival and the Market. We realized that it will be unfortunately impossible for us to organize and make preparations at this late stage for the Festival this year.

We would like to thank you all very much for all your valuable support and collaboration during the past four years. It has been an amazing four years for us and we have precious memories with all of you. Each and single one of you actively contributed so very much to our international festival which has emerged from nothing and proved to be turning into one of the most important events in Turkey

Our Foundation organizes several festivals in Turkey, esp. in Istanbul and Turkish Film weeks abroad. We hope very much indeed to be able to work with you for our upcoming festivals such as the Istanbul International Meeting of Cinema and History Film Festival, International Children's Film Festival and International Comedy Film Festival and at our new projects.

We are looking forward to meeting you and cooperating with you.
