“Arsenals” screening passes are cheaper... only until September 12.

This year's International Film Forum "Arsenals" will take place from September 17 to 26 in cinema "Riga" and "K. Suns". Within different programs, we will screen the films from around the world and from Cannes, Venice, Berlin and other festivals, providing opportunities to examine how the language of cinema has changed over the past two years. There will be a program dedicated to the Japanese "new wave" legends and special events - "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner" (1962) by Tony Richardson, "Cobra Verde" (1987), which is the last collaboration between Werner Herzog and Klaus Kinski, as well as "Chantrapas" (2010), a film by the legendary Georgian filmmaker Otar Iosseliani, which reveals the struggle of the outlawed director against the Soviet system. Of course, also on this year's "Arsenals" there will be both the Baltic Film Competition and the International Film Competition.

Until September 12 the price for the screening passes will be 10 LVL for 5 films and 19 LVL for 10 films, the price for Dienas reader club members is even friendlier - respectively 9 and 17,10 LVL. The screening passes can be purchased in "Ticket Service" offices throughout Latvia and online on http://www.bilesuserviss.lv/.

The price for a single ticket during the festival will range from 2.50 to 3.50 LVL, for students and pensioners - from 2.00 to 2.50 LVL.
