Goodnight Mommy by Veronika Franz and Severin FialaVIENNA: Goodnight Mommy by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala is among the five debut features nominated for European Discovery- Prix FIPRESCI at the European Film Awards.
The other nominated films are: Limbo (Germany, Denmark) by Anna Sofie Hartmann, Mustang (France, Germany, Turkey) by Deniz Gamze Ergüven, Slow West (New Zealand, UK) by John Maclean, and Summers Downstairs (Germany, France) by Tom Sommerlatte.
Goodnight Mommy, produced by Ulrich Seild Film Produktion, is also Austria’s bid for the Oscars in the Foreign-Language category.
The European Film Awards Ceremony will take place in Berlin on 12 December 2015.
