FNE at Golden Rose FF 2014: Competition: Adultery

    VARNA: Bulgarian film and theatre director and former international fashion model Yavor Vesselinov concentrates on a triangle love story in his graduation film Adultery. The film screens in the main competition of the annual Golden Rose Film Festival (11-17 October 2014) of new Bulgarian films in Varna.

    Adultery by Yavor VesselinovIn this 72min psychological drama, a rich and famous physicist (Alexander) and his 19-year-old son (Victor) both fall in love with the same young woman (Polly). Yavor Vesselinov also wrote the script. Rosen Daskalov is the DoP. The film is produced by Teach.Co Art Company with the support of the Sofia Municipality and several local film companies such as Dream Team Films, Camera Ltd and Post Scriptum 2.

     

    Adultery by Yavor VesselinovThe main characters are played by Ovanes Torosyan, Vladimir Penev and Lidiya Indzhova. “I have a main part in this film due to my previous collaborations with my friends Kamen Kalev, Konstantin Bojanov and Stefan Komandarev.”, said Ovanes Torosyan.

    As a co-writer and co-director he became famous for the internationally awarded long documentary Kusturica. Balkan’s Bad Boy. For his stage play Small Goodbye Rituals he was nominated for Best Directorial Debut in the National Theatre Award Icarus competition by the Union of Bulgarian Artists earlier this year.
