Mysterious murders from 1985 are the starting point for a fictional story using folkloristic elements and awakening the popular belief in the UFOs. Borislav Zahariev told local media that he wrote a story „about a group of people who go into a house where unexpected and weird events start to occur.”

The film was produced by Forward Pictures, Camera Ltd and Dream Team Films and it was shot in only three weeks in 2013 with a popular cast including some of the hottest Bulgarian TV and theatre stars: Elena Petrova,Kalin Vrachanski, Lidiya Indzhova and Plamen Manasiev. The cast also includes an American actor David Chokachi.

Distributor A Plus Films put up an aggressive advertising campaign. Released in the end of 2013, Roseville is still being screened in local cinemas. The film was broadcast exclusively by Nova TV on 6 September 2014.
