Bulgaria renews Forbidden Love

    Bulgaria's Nova TV has acquired rights to a second season of the soap opera Forbidden Love (Zabranena Lyubov) from FremantleMedia Enterprises.

    According to World Screen, Nova TV (www.novatv.bg) has also extended rights on season one, increasing the number of episode transmissions and repeats. In 2010, the station will air 98 26-minute episodes, with an additional two transmissions from the first season and one repeat within 24 hours.

    Forbidden Love season one of the Bulgarian-filmed version aired from October 2008 to June 2009. The series is based on a successful show which has been broadcast in several other territories worldwide, including Croatia.
