Production grants totalling 694,188 EUR/ 5,272,000 HRK went only to documentaries, short fiction films and experimental films; 93,488 EUR/710,000 HRK were granted for project development documentaries; and 59,911 EUR/ 455,000 HRK were allotted to nine long documentaries as script development grants.

The production grants for feature films will be announced in late August or early September. There were 70 projects of documentaries applying for development or production grants submitted, continuing "the trend of an increasing number of applications compared to previous periods," Tomislav Mršić, the Artistic Advisor for documentaries, said.
