photo: www.croatiaweek.comDUBROVNIK: The shooting of Star Wars, which will take place in Dubrovnik from 9 to 20 March, re-ignites the discussion around the opportunity of building a film studio in Dubrovnik.
According to croatiaweek.com, the local authorities are contemplating the idea of building a film studio and already have the support of the Ministry of Culture and Embassy Films, the Croatian company which provided services for several international productions including Game of Thrones.
Dubrovnik’s Mayor Andro Vlahušić told the Croatian media that a number of locations have been found in the 30km radius of Dubrovnik to build the studio.
