The new categories include Vote for Change!, focusing on populist movements and civil society activists, Dreams of Europe, with films about refugees on their way to Europe, Faces of the City, about the relationship between people and the urban environment, and the Family Happiness, presenting the western family and its importance in an individualised society.

The new Czech Competition category aims at promoting the screening of Czech documentaries at international festivals.

The programme comprising 110 films and the international guests will be announced on 21 February 2017.
