New decision at MMKA

    The Motion Picture Foundation of Hungary (www.mmka.hu) announced support for 25 festivals and film events at a total amount with €305,000.

    The Titanic International Film Festival got 46.000 euro, the Kecskemet Animation Film Festival is supported with €89,500, and Mediawave ‘2009 International Film and Music Festival got €57,000.

    In another decision four feature films got loan support for production and distribution. Krisztina Deak's Aglaja was awarded with an estimated €89,000, Karoly Makk's new feature film Farkasborben (In Wolf Skin) €107,000, A vagyakozas napja (Day of the Yearning) by Jozsef Pacskovszky €39,000 and Lost Times, best film winner on the 40Th Hungarian Film Week by Aron Matyassy €44,000.
