Aiste DiržiuteAiste Dirziute, star of The Summer of Sangaile directed by Alante Kavaite, has been selected as one of European Film Promotion’s 2015 Shooting Stars.
Dirziute made her feature film debut in the film which was recently selected by the Sundance film festival. The film is a Lithuanian/French/Dutch coproduction from Lithuanian production company Fralita Films and received support from the Lithuanian Film Center.
She was nominated for EFP Shooting Stars by the Lithuanian Film Center. Ten European actors have been selected for the honour. The Shooting Stars will be introduced at the 2015 Berlinale.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
