First MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania Selects Four Projects

VILNIUS: The MIDPOINT development programme continues to expand its reach with its first Lithuanian workshop, set for 5-8 May 2019. The organisers have announced the titles of the four projects which have been selected for the programme.

The participating projects and teams are:

A Butterfly’s Heart, Inesa Kurklietyte (writer/director) and Zivile Gallego (producer)
Oxygen, Birute Kapustinskaite (writer), Ernestas Jankauskas (director) and Gabija Siurbyte (producer)
Pilgrims, Laurynas Bareisa (writer/director) and Klemtina Remeikaite (producer)
Tasty, Irena Kuneviciute (writer), Egle Vertelyte (writer) and Ieva Biliunaite (producer)

The workshop is presented in partnership with the Lithuanian Film Centre. The British scriptwriter David Pope will lead the workshop and Gabrielle Brunnenmeyer will head up the pitching training.
