Company director Anastasia Budykho explains the move, which reflects the current core business identity of the organization. The new full name - U-Film Ltd. - and the new abbreviated name, U-Film, went into effect 1 March 2014. "However, this change doesn’t influence existing contractual, economic and business relations between our company and its business partners," Budykho told FNE.
The company bills itself as a multilingual, one-stop production company whose expertise "covers the entire spectrum of services required for successful filming in Malta, from the creative to financial to logistics." It offers full-time, trained staff in all departments who work on incoming productions, as well as on promoting Malta as a premier filming location.
