According to Times of Malta, the film crew will build a set on a bay on the island in preparation for a late August shoot date.

The production scout was handled by Oliver Mallia of the Malta film company Pellikola whose credits include HBO’s Game of Thrones and The Devil’s Double.

Neither Mallia nor Malta Film Commissioner Engelbert Grech were willing to confirm that the couple would be bringing the film to Malta, although Grech did confirm that the pair had a successful scouting session. The untitled film was written by Jolie.
