The Closed Circuit chronicles the lives of young businessmen who have managed to build a successful computer parts company but have drawn the attention of local authorities because of the competition they are bringing to deeply entrenched older companies with major government contracts. A scheme by the tax office and justice officials costs the entrepreneurs everything and lands them in jail.

The film is based on a script by Mirosław Piepka and Michał S. Pruski, who were inspired by true events. Filmicon  is producing in co-production with Arche, Apella, Drop, Eda Coffee, Edward Łaskowiec, Hemarpol, Orlex, Polcopper, Schach Matt, Silesian Catalysts and Środowisko i innowacje. The budget was 4.9 million PLN, all of which was financed from private sources, almost exclusively from owners of businesses who opted to support the message of the film.

Bugajski managed to collect an all-star cast, including Janusz Gajos and Kazimierz Kaczor in the dark character leads. Circuit premiered in Poland on 5 April and became an instant hit, with 100,946 viewers over the opening weekend and over 590,000 tickets sold to date.
