The main character is a boy nicknamed Bumblebee (his father is known as Hornet) and the story follows a group of 10-year-olds spending what starts out as a dull summer on a Croatian island. When they discover an abandoned small African boy in a lighthouse, their imaginations go into overdrive. Thinking he’s an alien, they build a device to teleport him back to his home. The primary target audience is families and children 7 – 14 years old.
