The latest symphony of Krzysztof Penderecki - Seven Gates of Jerusalem - was written to commemorate the city's 3000th anniversary. It is also where this work, based on the texts from the Book of Psalms and the Prophets, was first performed.
It was re-arranged for the exclusive concert in Warsaw's Polish National Opera that took place on November 23, 2008 on the birthday of Krzysztof Penderecki. The TV spectacle is a record of the Warsaw's concert combined with the computer graphics of the Oscar nominee Tomasz Bagiński.
