TVN (www.tvn.pl) decided to purchase the format after its huge success in Russia, where the local version titled The Voronins had 210 aired episodes, almost as many as the original. The series was also bought by Israeli television channel Reshet. The Polish version will by produced by Sony TV (www.sony.pl) in the summer of 2011. The cast and crew for the project are yet to be announced.

Everybody Loves Raymond follows the life of a sports journalist and his relationship with a demanding family that includes a beautiful wife, three children, overprotective and intruding parents, and a divorced, jealous brother working as a policeman. The series was aired in USA on CBS between 1996 and 2005 before moving into syndication, and remains one of the most popular American sitcoms to date.
