The international training program helps participants to explore, identify and refine the tone and visual language of film by working on treatments/scripts and producing two scenes from each script/ treatment. The process also includes tutors consulting on filming and editing, production and marketing, and pitching.

In 2012, nine teams produced scenes through EKRAN.

In 2012 all of the nine international teams produced their scenes. Every participating project is represented by a Creative Team consisting of a director (or writer/director), a writer (or co-writer), a producer and, optionally, a director of photography.
