Three Documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe Score Slots in EFA Selection

BERLIN: Three documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe have been included in the first ever EFA Documentary Selection for the 28th European Film Awards. The selection comprises 15 European documentaries.

Another novelty is the involvement of 10 documentary festivals, including Jihlava IDFF and Krakow Film Festival, which recommended to the committee up to three films, each of which had its world premiere at the respective festival’s latest edition.

Based on the recommendations and films submitted individually, the documentary committee decided on the EFA Documentary Selection. The EFA awards ceremony will be held in Berlin on 12 December 2015.
