After the FIPRESCI Award received in Cannes in 2016, Toni Erdmann was awarded several other prizes including the prizes for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Actor and Best Actress at the at the 29th European Film Awards held in Wroclaw on 10 December 2016, and it is also the winner of the prestigious LUX Prix by the European Parliament.
