Three prizes are awarded in the categories of short film, documentary, and animated film. Applicants are requested to submit a sample feature from their production team, which must include a director, producer, camera operator and screenwriter. A jury will nominate 15 finalist teams to attend pitching seminars and an invatition to pitch at go§ast Festival in Wiesbaden in April. The winners will be announced at goEast, and two members of the teams will participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus.

The Robert Bosch Stitung awards are supported by ARTE, which will choose one or more of the winning films for broadcast.
