Child's Pose is a contemporary drama focusing on the relationship between a mother and her 32-year-old son. After the accidental killing of a boy in a car crash, the mother tries to prevent her son being charged for the death, and she refuses to accept that her son is a grown-up man. Netzer co-authored the script with Răzvan Rădulescu.
Ada Solomon produced together with Parada Film, which also distributed the film. The 100% Romanian film had a budget of 700,000 EUR and received a production grant of 251,600 EUR (1,082,112 RON) received from the National Centre for Cinema in 2011.
The film received the 2013 Berlinale Golden Bear and FIPRESCI Award. It set a 10 year admissions record in Romania, with 19,729 tickets sold on opening weekend, 8 March 2013 on 37 screens in more than 20 towns, and a 20 year opening weekend box office record, taking in 59,407 EUR/ 259,217 RON.
