The film is a Slovenian-Danish-Croatian coproduction and started shooting at the end of August.
Dual is produced by Andrej Stritof, Aleš Pavlin and the same production company which backed Gazvoda’s first film, Perfo Production (www.perfo.si) in coproduction with Morten Kjems Juhl for Denmark’s Beofilm and Marina Andree Skop for Croatia’s Studio Dim (www.dim.hr). The project is supported by the Slovenian Film Centre (www.film-center.si), Danish Film Institute (www.dfi.dk) and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (www.havc.hr). The budget is 908,166 EUR.
Pavlin told FNE that the film is set to be finished in spring 2013.
