The Tree stars Katarina Stegnar in an ethnic Albanian film on the topic of blood feud and a family that finds its safety only behind the walls of their own house.
Prosenc, a graduate in Journalism and cultural Studies, is a founder of the film production house MONOO. She is an alumna of the Sarajevo and Berlinale Talent Campus and was selected to TorinoFilmLab. Her previous credits include short films and a full length documentary, Man with a Raven.
The Tree was realized with a total budget of 480,000 EUR with 228,000 EUR financed by the Slovenian Film Center and technical support provided by film studio Viba Film. The film was developed in cooperation with EAVE and Baltic Event.
