    PORTOROZ: Metod Pevec's Home is the only documentary competing at the Slovenian Film Festival in Portoroz. The 18th edition of the festival takes place from 15 to 20 September 2015. 

    Home is set in a building in Slovenia that is used to house temporary workers from different parts of the former Yugoslavia. The 5-flat house, shared by 19 different owners, is now  home to the most marginalized members of society who try to cope with their lives and destinies.

    The film with a total budget of 140,000 EUR was produced by Danijel Hočevar through Vertigo and it was supported by the Slovenian Film Center with 70,000 EUR.

    The award-winning Slovenian director Metod Pevec (Good night, Missy, Vertigo, 2011; Beneath Her Window, Vertigo/EmotionFilm, 2003) also has the credits for screenwriting and cinematography. The acclaimed Slovenian composer Aldo Kumar signed the score.
