The film is directed by acclaimed short film director Belma Bas. In her first full-length feature film, she tells the story of Zephyr, a teenage girl who is sent to live with her grandparents in a village set in Anatolia.
The film has been shown at several film festivals including Tokyo, Rotterdam, Sofia, Thessaloniki (where it received the Artistic Achievement Award) and Abu Dhabi. It also received the Keral Best Debut Award.
The film is produced by Filmik Produksiyon (filmic.blogspot.com) and FC Istanbul (fcistanbul.com). The cast includes the respected theatre actress Vahide Gordum.
