BUCHAREST: Young filmmakers from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary and Romania are among the 12 directors, DoPs and editors selected for the 12th edition of Aristoteles Workshop, the one-month documentary workshop that will take place in Bata, Arad county from 3 July to 5 August 2017.

CLUJ-NAPOCA: Alexandru Solomon’s new documentary Tarzan’s Testicles will screen out of competition in the Romanian Days section of the 16th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) from 8 to 10 June 2017. The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. The film is a Romanian/French coproduction.

CLUJ-NAPOCA: The documentary Cabbage, Potatoes and Other Demons by Şerban Georgescu will screen in the Romanian Days competition of the 16th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) from 8 to 10 June 2017. The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. The film is a Romanian/German coproduction about a Romanian village with 5,000 inhabitants and almost 1,000 tractors.

CLUJ-NAPOCA: The documentary The Last Kalderash will screen in the Romanian Days competition of the 16th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) from 8 to 10 June 2017. The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. This is the first film by the acclaimed Romanian photographer Cosmin Bumbuț and journalist Elena Stancu, who set up on a caravan trip throughout Romania four years ago in order to do independent journalism.

CLUJ-NAPOCA: The documentary Planet Petrila by Andrei Dăscălescu will screen in the Romanian Days competition of the 16th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) from 8 to 10 June 2017. The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. The film had its world premiere in the competition programme First Appearance of the International Documentary Festival of Amsterdam – IDFA 2016.

The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. The film is an adaptation of the writings of Romanian-Jewish author Max Blecher.

CLUJ-NAPOCA: Adrian Sitaru’s The Fixer will screen in the Romanian Days competition of the 16th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) from 8 to 10 June 2017. The festival will run this year from 2 to 11 June. The film is a Romanian/French coproduction inspired by true events and involving the idea of personal ascent versus loss of innocence.
