WARSAW: Public broadcaster TVP has signed an intention letter with PGNiG, a Polish state-controlled oil and natural gas company, stating that the two will work together on promoting Polish culture.

WARSAW: Producer/director/writer Jacek Bromski was re-elected with an overwhelming majority to the position of president of the Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP) on 23 April 2016.

WARSAW: Krzysztof Łukaszewicz’s war drama Karbala was released in Bulgarian cinemas by the Bulgarian coproducer Miramar Film on 18 March 2016.

WARSAW: Anne Fontaine’s drama Agnus Dei starring Agata Kulesza and Agata Buzek will be released by Imagine in the Netherlands on 17 March 2016.
