WARSAW: The Polish Film Institute announced the dates for applications in 2016 and a new list of experts who will judge the projects.

WARSAW: Marta Plucińska is in postproduction with a star-studded romantic drama, Kochaj, produced by Federico Film. The film will premiere on 4 March 2016, distributed by Kino Świat.

WARSAW: Former Polish Film Institute Director Agnieszka Odorowicz, will become a member of the board of the Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat as of 1 March 2016.

WARSAW: Director of the internationally acclaimed film Baby Blues (MD4), Katarzyna Rosłaniec, is working on Satan Said Dance, a coproduction between Poland and the Netherlands planned to premiere in April 2016.

KRAKOW: Martha Coolidge is working on her epic Polish/American love story Music, War and Love. The crew has already completed principal photography in Łódź and is currently working in Krakow.

WARSAW: After racking up the best opening weekend for a Polish film in 30 years with 655,000 admissions, the Polish Christmas comedy Letters to Santa 2 has climbed to 1,901,000 admissions making the TVN production the top box office hit in Poland.

WARSAW: After winning a spot in the MUX-8 transmitter for best lifestyle channel project, Agora plans to invest 30 m PLN (7 m EUR) in the new channel Kiwi TV.
