WARSAW: Netflix's recent offer of additional compensation to Polish creators is facing criticism from the Association of Polish Filmmakers (SFP). The Association is concerned about the terms outlined and it sees potential disadvantages for creators.

WARSAW: The Polish Filmmakers Association has sued the State Treasury over the reprographic fee, claiming inadequate compensation for filmmakers and producers.

WROCŁAW: Rodrigo Moreno’s drama The Delinquents received the Grand Prix at the 23rd mBank New Horizons International Film Festival held in Wrocław 20 - 30 July 2023.

GDYNIA: Sixteen films will compete for the Golden and Silver Lions in the Main Competition of the 48th Polish Film Festival, which will be held 18 – 23 September 2023.

WROCŁAW: New films by Maciej Pieprzyca, Tadeusz Łysiak, Maciej Sobieszczański and Damian Kocur will be showcased at Polish Days 2023. The biggest industry event in Poland will be held in Wrocław 23 - 25 July 2023 during the 23rd mBank New Horizons International Film Festival (20 – 30 July 2023).

WARSAW: Millennium Docs against Gravity will showcase 12 new projects at the new pitching event organised in Warsaw as part of the MDAG Industry programme 12 - 21 May 2023. The projects will be presented to international producers, world sales, festival programmers and programme editors from European televisions.
