Creative Europe Programme
- 01/07: Creative Europe launches €121m guarantee facility – European Commission
The Creative Europe programme has set up a €121 million guarantee initiative, to enhance the access to finance of SMEs in the cultural and creative sector operational as of 2016. It will support the scaling up of cultural and creative projects and help the sector in becoming more competitive.

Czech Republic

On 5 May 2016 The Parliament of the Czech Republic adopted the Amendment on the Audiovisual Act. The aim of this amendment is to secure sufficient funding to support cinematography and to enable the long-term planning and predictable funding of the State Fund of Cinematography.
