Respekt weekly and Jihlava IDFF are looking for the best television, video and online report.

    Respekt weekly and Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2012 announce the 6th edition of the Respekt Award for the best television, video and online report of the past year. The competition is not limited to domestic themes only; reports dealing with foreign themes can be submitted as well.

    A quality report has to ask questions, get to the heart of the matter and introduce its theme in context. The aim of the Respekt Award is to point out essential report projects of the past year. The award will be presented for the 6th time already at Jihlava IDFF.

    A board of selectors of the Respekt weekly and Jihlava IDFF will shortlist 10 out of all submitted reports. Out of these, a jury comprised of Respekt weekly editors will select the winner who will be presented the Respekt Award at the Opening Ceremony.

    The 2012 jury will be comprised of Kamil Fila, Pavel Kroulík, Jan H. Vitvar and Naďa Straková.
