The start of the conference, titled “Zero Day”, will be dedicated to Lithuanian film producers and other members of the industry. The second part of “Meeting Point – Vilnius” will present a comprehensive report on European film audiences, which will be of great help to producers trying to define and attract an audience. Film marketing experts “The Einstein Couple” from Denmark will present their work on the scandalous “Nymphomaniac” by Lars von Trier. Conference participants will hear from the people directly involved in the film’s creative strategy, which received about as much attention as “Nymphomaniac” itself.

Each year, “Meeting Point – Vilnius” promotes films that are still in development. There will be industry screenings and works in progress presentations for an international audience of film distributors, buyers, and film festival programmers. Filmmakers from Lithuania and other Baltic countries, as well as Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will have the opportunity to introduce their feature, documentary, and animated film projects. Confirmed participants include programmers from Berlin, San Sebastian, Rotterdam, Venice, Gothenburg, Transylvania and Moscow film festivals.
