    The winner is...

    „Japan: A Story of Love and Hate" by Sean McAllister.

    The international jury: Martichka Bozhilova (producer), Barbara Orlicz-Szczypuła (head of the program office of the Krakow Film Festival), Igor Blaževič (the director of One World film festival in Prague), Roman Kurkiewicz (journalist) and Andrzej Titkow (film director), in a democratic way chose the winner of the on-line documentary film festival - DOCBOAT / WARSAW NONFICTION E-FEST.

    The British documentarist Sean McAllister will receive the GRAND PRIX VISTULA RIVER and the 5 thousand Euro prize, sponsored by the City of Warsaw. His feature documentary film is a Japanese love story. The film is an in-depth portrait of life in the world's second richest country. It was filmed in 2008.

    Tuesday (29 Sept. 19:00) on the barge next to the Świętokrzyski bridge in Warsaw will be a screening of "Japan: A Story of Love and Hate".

    DOCBOAT festival is a part of Transformations Art Festival by the Vistula.
