CME looks at Bulgarian channel

News Corp is considering the sale of a 55% stake in its Bulgarian TV station bTV to Central European Media Enterprises (CME).

According to the Bulgaria's Novinte news, the sale would be some 500 million Euro, making it the second largest deal in Bulgarian broadcasting. The station is to launch two new theme channels by the end of 2009: bTV Comedy and bTV Cinema.
