NICOSIA: The 60-minutes social/human rights documentary Missing Fetine by Yeliz Shukri has been pre-bought by the Hellenic Parliament TV and Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation from the film’s distribution and sales handler, Tetraktys Films Ltd.

Missing Fetine, which is currently in postproduction, is about the lost generation of many Muslim girls from Cyprus who married Arab Muslim men who were visiting the island between the 1920s and 1940s.

The film is a coproduction between Tetraktys Films Ltd, The Cyprus Advisory Committee of Cyprus, with the support of the Media Development Programme of the European Union and was developed through STORYDOC and MEDIMED workshops.

A number of documentaries distributed by the Cypriot company Tetraktys Films Ltd will also be aired on the non-profit free-to-air network Hellenic Parliament TV in 2016 and 2017. These documentaries originate from Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Sweden and India.

Tetraktys Films Ltd has also recently become the first Cypriot sales agency to become an official part of the European Film Promotion network, making it eligible to apply for film sales support for 2016 and 2017.
