NICOSIA: Ten films will compete in the Glocal Images competition of the 14th Cyprus Film Days International Festival, which will run from 15 to 24 April 2016.

The 14th Cyprus Film Days International Festival, the largest international film event in Cyprus dedicated to contemporary world cinema and fiction feature films, will take place in Nicosia and Limassol.

The five international jury members are Julek Kedzierski (Mannheim Meeting Place coordinator from Poland), Jo Katsaras (Cypriot – South African Emmy-Nominated costume designer), Vicky Krieps (actress from Luxembourg), Kyros Papavassiliou (Cypriot director, Won Best Director and Best National Film at last year’s Cyprus Film Days IFF) and Christine Haupt (German producer).

This year the festival has no national competition for short films and documentaries.

The Cyprus Film Days International Festival is organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Rialto Theatre.
