LIMASSOL: The Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture and the Rialto Theater have announced that the Short Film and Short Documentary Festival has been upgraded and renamed the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus (ISFFC, www.isffc.com.cy).
The annual event, which will take place at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol, between 15‐22 October 2011, also announced a call for entries for films not exceeding 25 minutes in length. Entries must be submitted by 20 July 2011.
The decision to upgrade the festival is part of a larger strategy to boost local film production.
The festival competition films will be judged by an international five-member jury.
