KineDoc will be presented as a series of screenings of twelve CEE documentaries, followed by debates with the filmmakers at more than twenty venues in each of the participating countries: the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

Films selected for the pilot edition include Oscar-nominated Joanna, produced by Wajda Studio and coproduced by the Polish National Audiovisual Institute and Daniel’s World, produced by Czech company Vernes in coproduction with HBO Europe and Czech TV. For the introductory screening, the documentary Sugar Blues, producedby Golden Dawn and Czech TV and directed by Andrea Culkova has been chosen. The event is supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Center.
