KARLOVY VARY: The 50th Karlovy Vary Film Festival will run from 3 to 11 July 2015. The Jubilee aims to be an extraordinary celebration of cinema, filmmakers and most of all, the audience itself.

Many of the films in the main competition are about and made by young people. “This year, we are excited to present the youngest competition lineup in the KVIFF’s recent history, the average age of the filmmaker in the main festival section is 39 years old,” says KVIFF’s artistic director Karel Och.

The lineup includes seven world and six international premieres. The 50th Karlovy Vary film festival is supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture and the Karlovy Vary Region.
