The new management is Film Servis Plzen s.r.o.. The festival will also have a new logo and new programming concept including screenings outside of the competition categories, which are not limited to Czech and Slovak cinema.
The main international guest and chairman of the international jury that awards the Golden Kingfisher, is the American writer and producer Mike Reiss, creator of The Simpsons and Ice Age. Apart from the feature or animated film competition, the festival also organizes competitions for TV series and documentaries.
