Visegrad Animation Forum Expands and Rebrands

TREBON: The Central European networking initiative for the animation industry is changing its name as it expands its outreach. Formerly known as VAF, the Visegrad Animation Forum, it has been re-titled CEE Animation Forum, and has opened a call for pitches of animated projects.

The 2019 edition is scheduled for 6 – 9 May, taking place during the Anifilm festival, which will run 7 – 12 May.

CEE Animation Forum is accepting applications from animated short films, series, TV specials and feature film projects until 13 January. Competition will be held in three categories, with TV series and specials together in one category.

The organisation is also launching a new CEE Animation Workshop consisting of three workshops, each six days long, taking place in Lujbljana in December 2018, in Budapest in March 2019 and in Trebon in May 2019, just prior to the CEE Animation Forum.
