    PLZEN: Winter Flies / Všechno bude by Olmo Omerzu will screen in the 32nd edition of the Finále Plzeň Film Festival. The most important Czech national film festival, presenting contemporary domestic audiovisual production, runs from 11 to 16 April 2019. Winter Flies won the Czech Lion for Best Film (and 5 more) and the Czech Critics´ Award for the best direction.

    The road movie Winter Flies tells the story of two boys, the self-assured Mára and somewhat eccentric Heduš, who set out by car into frozen wastes, in search of adventure. It is a story of the elusive bond of boyhood friendship and the irrepressible desire to experience something, even if you don't exactly know what.

    Winter Flies, made in coproduction between the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland and Slovakia, was produced by endorfilm and coproduced by the Czech Television, Punkchart filmsKoskino and Cvinger film, and was supported by the Czech Film Fund, the Slovenian Film Centre, the Polish Film Institute, the Slovak Audiovisual Fund

    The Czech distributor CinemArt released the film in cinemas on 6 September 2018.
