TALLINN: The Tallinn Black Nights Festival (PÖFF) will add a sixth competition programme, dedicated to documentaries, during its 28th edition taking place 8 – 24 November 2024. Submissions for Doc@PÖFF are open till 25 August 2024.
A selection team led by Estonian documentary director, producer and associate professor at the Baltic Film & Media School of the Tallinn University, Marianna Kaat will choose up to 15 long documentaries. Priority will be given to world premieres.
Three awards will be handed out: Grand Prix for the Best Film (for the director), Best Cinematography and Jury Special Prize.

The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
