The number of submissions for the 8th co-production market was up 10%. Twelve projects were selected representing the Baltics, Scandinavia, Central-Eastern Europe, and Russia to meet with sales agents, distributors, and producers at the largest co-production market in the region.

Romania's feature debut director Gabriel Achim and his producer Tudor Giurgiu were overwhelmingly voted the Best of BE, receiving the Baltic Event Best Project award for his black comedy ADALBERT'S DREAM (Libra Films). The award was presented by Baltic Event and included a cash prize of 3000 euros for the production company.

Estonian Aet Laigu, who presented Kadri Kõusaar's project EUROPEAN PSYCHO (Meteoriit) and Ella Vakkasova and Gavin Humphreys presenting the Uzbekistan project ARAL (Quark Films/Gorky Film Studio, Uzbekistan/Russia) won the Cannes film market accreditation prize.
