According to the decision of GNFC's Independent Experts' Commission the highest points in the second round of the competition were given to the Spanish-Georgian project "Chaika" (director Miguel Angel Jimenez).). The project is produced by Kinoskopik, Spain and co-produced with CINETECH, Georgia.

Project was granted with GNFC's public subsidy in the amount of 250,000 GEL (107,000 Euros).

On October 31, at the close of the New Cinema network, that same project was awarded with the second Eurimages Prize for the Development of Co-production.
