credit: Lurdy Cinema Fb pageBUDAPEST: The Lurdy Cinema in Budapest has reopened its Room 10 with a 62-square-meter screen featuring Samsung Onyx 4K LED technology. This is the biggest Onyx screen in Europe to date.
The technology is arriving in Hungary on time as the country didn’t match the pre-pandemic 15 – 16 m admissions yet, and is currently having around 10 m annually, according to Hungary Today.
Samsung Onyx LED is replacing the projector beaming light and the projector with a screen capable of emitting its own light.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
